We designed for you custom fashion tour which takes you deep in the history of fashion and gives you the proof that even now day’s tradition and history live in almost all fashion trends.

 

Day 1:  Zagreb

Arrival at Zagreb International Airport. Meet your Tour Escort – Fashion Specialist and transfer to your hotel. Upon arrival at hotel, check-in.

At the beginning of the evening, transfer to the restaurant for the Welcome Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

 

 Day 2:  Zagreb Fashion Introduction

Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure on half day tour of Zagreb.

Your adventure starts by Sightseeing tour of Croatia's Metropola. Zagreb is a pocket - sized metropolis, culturally close to central European capitals like Vienna or Prague but with more than a dash of Mediterranean/ Balkan atmosphere. The air of a- yet- to- be discovered treasure and the opportunity to enjoy your time away from places overrun by tourists, wandering from tourist trap to tourist trap, is an attraction in itself. 

In the early afternoon, visit to the studio of Mina Petra, fashion designer who dedicated her work in keeping alive the old crafts.

Mina Petra makes her fashion creations based on the models, motives and inspiration from the Croatian traditional culture and centuries-old tradition of handicrafts. Her creations are created by merging traditional motives, handicraft and modern design - but suitable for everyday use.

 

In her work she advocates the development of activity and creativity based on ethnic heritage and authenticity, and design clothes, everyday items and souvenirs with the characteristics of tradition and cultural identity. Her works, textile handicrafts and fashion design, participated in more than 80 exhibitions, promotions and fashion shows at home and abroad, winning numerous awards. Among the most important one is the Plaque of the International Association of Women received from UN in Geneva, the Plaque of Zagreb, a sign of quality "Croatian" awarded by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, special recognition of the «Eco-Ethno Croatia» for successful presentations and shows of ethnic collections. One of the most popular work of Petra Mina is the "Mother's story," non-profit project of Croatian culture and creativity based on tradition, consists of shows of ethnic collection "Gingerbread Heart" and ethno-collection «Tkanica». After a remarkably successful performances last year in Vienna and Salzburg, and this year at the international event Festa dei Popolo di Padova, Mother's story goes soon to promote Croatia in London, Milan, New York and Toronto.

After introductory word, Mina Petra will present you amazing story named “Miraculous way from wool fiber to master-piece“.

Return back to hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight.

 

Day 3:  Zagreb Practical Fashion Day

Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure to Mina Petra's studio for practical program. Today, you will be the one who will have the opportunity to create your own master-piece, with support of Mina Petra and her professional associates.

At the beginning of the evening, transfer to the local restaurant for the dinner. Return back to hotel and overnight.

 

 

Day 4: Zagreb – Plitvice National Park – Zadar / Leisure Day

 Breakfast at hotel and morning departure by bus towards Plitvice National Park. Upon arrival,

beginning of Sightseeing Tour during which you will discover unique magic of water and woods, in the valley situated between high forested mountains in which lie, one below another, a string of sixteen beautiful lakes of crystal blue-green colour. They are fed by many small streams and brooks and spill into each other in foaming cascades and thundering waterfalls. Due to their unique evolution and beauty the Plitvice Lakes were entered in the UNESCO Register of World Natural Heritage. The tour includes riding by electric-boat and electric-train. After Tour, free time for lunch.

Continuation towards Zadar. Upon arrival, accommodation at hotel. Overnight.

 

Day 5: Zadar – Split – Supetar Travel day

Breakfast at hotel and departure towards Split for the ebarkation on the ferry to Supetar on the Island of Brac. Arrival at hotel in the afternoon hours. Check-in. Overnight.

 

Day 6: Supetar – Donji Humac Fashion Day

Breakfast at hotel and morning departure to JAKSIC Workshop in Donji Humac, to discover the other way of fashion achievements. Your host will be Ms. Ida Jaksic, who brought to her stone-dressing family some fashion trends that not even our greatest show-biz stars could have resisted. In her hands, stone becomes soft, pliable; she plays with stone. Stone lamps, ear-rings, pendants, dresses and blooming daisies are products of imagination and love felt for Brač and stone. To everyone who takes them in their hands, they talk about the beauty of stone and the love of the Brač man for stone. 

After introductory word, Ida Jakšić will show you the story of how the stone becomes a dress.

Return back to hotel and overnight.

 

Day 7:  Supetar – Donji Humac Practical Fashion day

Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure to Donji Humac for practical program. Today again, you will be the one who will make your own creation, with support of Ida Jakšić and her professional associates.

At the beginning of the evening, transfer by bus to the typical local tavern for Farewell Dinner. Return back to hotel and overnight.

 

Day 8:  Supetar – Split / Departure

After breakfast at hotel, embarkation on the ferry to Split. Transfer to Split airport.
