PROGRAM

 

DAY 1 Saturday: ZAGREB

Arrival at Zagreb International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

 

DAY 2 Sunday: ZAGREB - ZADAR

Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure towards Zadar. Upon arrival, sighstseeing tour including the Roman Forum, St Donat's Church, a magnificent monument of Romanesque architecture and sea organ. In the afternoon accommodation at hotel in Zadar region. Overnight.

 

DAY 3 Monday: ZADAR - DUBROVNIK

After breakfast at hotel morning departure for Dubrovnik driving via Trilj and along the cetina River valley. Upon arrival, accommodation at hotel in Dubrovnik region and overnight.

 

DAY 4 Tuesday: DUBROVNIK

Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik is referred to us as « the Pearl of the Adriatic » - find out why! This tour will reveal the finest sites of the old walled city as well as give an opportunity to view it from

above at the spectacular panoramic spot. The walking part includes the visits to the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s oldest pharmacy, Dubrovnik’s Cathedral and Rector’s Palace. Your local guide will lead you through the narrow streets of the old town and introduce you to the history and culture of this magnificent city – museum. Other splendid monuments and buildings will be viewed along the way.

Afternoon free for individual activities. Overnight.

 

DAY 5 Wednesday: DUBROVNIK - SPLIT - TROGIR

After breakfast at hotel drive to Split along the Adriatic coast. Upon arrival, sightseeing tour.

The city was originally built around the Diocletian palace (a palace/fort built for the retired Roman emperor Diocletian) where the locals sought refuge centuries ago. Exploring the historic centre of Split you can still clearly see the Roman walls, squares, and temples. Take advantage of this unique opportunity and visit the most important sights: the famous Diocletian’s Palace, which makes part of the UNESCO’s Cultural Heritage and presents a distinctive trade mark of Split itself, Cathedral, Jupiter's Temple and other cultural monuments you will see on your way during the city tour. In the afternoon proceed to Trogir. Accommodation at hotel and overnight.

 

DAY 6 Thursday: TROGIR - PLITVICE NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast at hotel and morning departure towards Plitvice National Park. Upon arrival, beginning of Sightseeing Tour during which you will discover unique magic of water and woods, in the valley situated between high forested mountains in which lie, one below another, a string of sixteen beautiful lakes of crystal blue-green colour. They are fed by many small streams and brooks and spill into each other in foaming cascades and thundering waterfalls. Due to their unique evolution and beauty the Plitvice Lakes were entered in the UNESCO Register of World Natural Heritage. The tour includes riding by electric-boat and electric-train. Maybe you will have a unique opportunity to enjoy Plitvice National Park covered by snow. In the afternoon accommodation at hotel inside the National Park and overnight.

 

DAY 7 Friday: PLITVICE NATIONAL PARK - ZAGREB

After breakfast at hotel drive to Croatia's capital. Upon arrival, sightseeing tour of Zagreb.

Zagreb is a pocket - sized metropolis, culturally close to central European capitals like Vienna or Prague but with more than a dash of Mediterranean/ Balkan atmosphere. The air of a- yet- to- be discovered treasure and the opportunity to enjoy your time away from places overrun by tourists, wandering from tourist trap to tourist trap, is an attraction in itself. 

In the afternoon accommodation at hotel. Overnight.

 

DAY 8 Saturday: ZAGREB

Breakfast at hotel and free time till the transfer to Zagreb Airport.
